Hannah was one of our best designers: almost two years since she left, her campaign work is still highly regarded and requested for pitch decks and client calls, and her motion graphics and animation background helped set the precedent for our annual Cannes videos. But from my project management perspective, what I valued even more than her talent was her ability to parse through an inundation of client requests and materials, distill the campaign objectives and guidelines, and produce on-target deliverables with little back and forth – as well as our direct and efficient communication, both in-person and virtual. In short: a PM's dream and I wish she was still on our team, but glad she is on to better things!

I can’t say enough positive things about my experience working with Hannah. I wasn’t responsible for hiring her myself but she joined the team a few months after I started at TrueX and it was a decision I’m still grateful for. Because our work was always high-volume with fast turnarounds, our team needed designers who could work fairly autonomously. […] I recall giving her notes on an early project and then seeing her apply similar design thinking to the next one - something I always appreciated was knowing that she didn’t just take direction or feedback in the moment, but would always listen and learn from the design and strategic rationale. It’s why she was trusted to take over all the work coming out of our midwest office in a more client facing role, why she was asked to travel and evaluate vendors, and why she was frequently tapped by our leadership and marketing teams to create video work for a range of high profile meetings and presentations, as well as display work that was shown at Cannes. For the four(ish) years we worked together I got to see Hannah really come into her own as a designer and leader - she’s someone who really supports the people she works with, takes the quality of her work seriously, and has an understated talent for very cutting dry humor when you least expect it. I couldn’t recommend working with her enough, unless I’m able to poach her for another team in the future.
